First flight to Taipei
The first flight to Taipei was not as painful as the next flight, which was from there to San Fransisco. It was only a 4 hour flight from Singapore to Taipei, but we had to wait for several hours to continue our flight to San Fran. The San Fran flight took about 11 hours and it was a horrible flight filled with moments where you thought you had slept for a long time, but it only lasted minutes.
Touch Down on San Fran. First Day
The security guard was rough on me, shouting at me on why I did not have a return ticket with me. Glancing at his gun, I was thinking. 'Don't mess his day up even more or he'll really have to USE it.'. After that drama was over, I felt pissed off.
We grabbed our luggage and walked off to find Mr. Harry, who was supposed to pick us up on Door 1, which was the entrance and exit of the airport. When we stepped outside, the wind was blowing at us and it was cold. It was not a gentle breeze but it was almost a gust * exaggerated*
His car had small smell of french fries, but I thought it was eggs. We arrived at Corner Stone, unpacked and rested for the day with the tour of the area all done and well.
Second Day
We were taught on how to use a public transport and using a card almost similar to an Ez-Link called a Clipper. The difference is that we do not have to tap out on exit. We walked around Union Square and took a cable car that brought us all the way to Fisherman's Warf. We walked toward an area called Pier 39 and ate something called Chowder. It was a thick soup, poured in a fat bread like a bowl. It was AMERICAN size... meaning it was huge. We saw an island way off in the horizon from the 'Bay End' which was located at the end of the pier. On the way back to gather with the others, we saw sea lions sun bathing on wooden floating planks.
Third Day
I did not eat breakfast.. but a certain someone said it was an important meal of the day. I ignored him. Yeah. (Douglas)
Mr. Harry presented to us several different types of awesome cassette tapes used in the olden days. After the dry lesson we ate lunch which was macaroni with meat balls. Then, we went to Manila Supermarket which has the best deals of cherries which costed 99c per packet!
We returned with many different food and drinks then after that, we had dinner which consisted of rice, broccoli coated with oyster sauce and fried chicken wings. Hellz yeah.
We then returned to our rooms, did our laundry and eat noodles while watching running man. That is all, see ya!
