First Class Session

Today is our first classroom session with Mr Harry at 9:30am. Firstly, he told us about the ground rules and our course outline. Then, we had to do an introduction about ourselves. Example; where we are from, why did I join the course, what is my strength etc.

Mr Harry then continue about Camera Basics. He told us about the different type of cameras. We also get to see different type of tapes that I've never came across.

Later, we were given an activity. We have to shoot different types of shots:

-Long shot (establishing shot)
-Close ups
- Extreme close ups
-Head shots
-Interview (2 shot and close ups)
-Pan shot
-Zoom in & Zoom out
-Truck in & Truck out
-Tilt up & down
-Boom up & down
-Followibg a moving person

I got my "interview" shot wrong. I did an over shoulder shot but I crossed the line. My second over shoulder position was on the opposite side, which is wrong.

After the class ends, Ms Li bought us to the supermarket. We bought different types of fruit, cereal, milk, syrup and other stuff.

We head back to Connerstone and have our dinner. Right before that, we unpack our items that we bought.

After Dinner

Mr Kean, Fadli, Douglas and I took a walk around the neighbourhood. It was very cold yet fun. (: nice.
